Third Avenue finally has its own wine store!
Gowanus Wine Merchants, at 493 Third Ave. on the northeast corner of 3rd Ave and 11th St., opened last week. The small but charming shop has an old-fashioned, hand-painted, gold-embossed window sign and offers a decent selection of wines from all over the world, organized by region.
